Quinneckia “Quinn” Nicole Holden-Thompson (born January 17, 1983) is a Mississippi native and one of the first survivors of the rare Kawasaki disease in the state of Mississippi who grew to become a radical Christian woman under the leadership and influence of her parents and mentors, Bishop Joe Holden, Mrs. Penny Holden, and Dr. Tonya McGill. Quinn is known for her outgoing personality, and drive to motivate and encourage others by helping them to achieve goals that seem to be unattainable. Quinn is an alumna of Madison Central High School, Hinds Community College, and Liberty University where she studied to become a successful accountant and settled in the vocation shortly after her relocation to Texas. She is also an active member of Antioch Christian Church, under the leadership of Pastor Norris Q. McGill. Thompson currently finds pleasure in mentoring teenagers, spending quality time with her family, watching football, and attending NASCAR races, as well as reading and learning new things. She’s the wife to Mr. Cedric J. Thompson, and mother of two growing teenagers. Quinn has recently found pleasure in using her spiritual gift of encouragement to write and author her upcoming book, “The Essence of Purple,” and is also a co-author of the anthology, “Women of Purpose.” She strives to achieve any goal that she sets out to attain and loves to be used by God to be a blessing to others in their time of need. Endeavoring to win unbelievers to Christ, Quinn fearlessly reaches individuals that struggle through life and is unashamed to tell her personal story of how she triumphed and overcame some of the toughest moments of her life with the help of God. Thompson continues to strive in pleasing God by living out His divine word and focusing on fulfilling the purpose that He has placed within her.
