Janie Bess

Janie P. Bess is a writer, author, activist, and co-author of Woman of Purpose, Power, and Passion. Her books, Visions, and Wife In The P.I. provide a revealing look inside her life as a U.S. Air Force wife and mother of five. She raised her children, including her deaf-blind son, during difficult times when support for families with disabled children was limited. Janie’s stories provide a revealing look inside her personal struggle to raise a family and overcome obstacles as she takes readers on a faith-inspired journey of the human spirit. Janie lives in Northern California with her husband, David. She founded a nonprofit organization to lend support to other writers and leads the group through interactive workshops.
